The Vision
The homeowners wanted their primary bath to feel like an escape — dramatic, modern, and unlike anything in the rest of the house. The direction was bold-but-warm: dark, moody finishes balanced by natural wood tones so the space felt luxurious rather than cold.
A Full Gut Renovation
This wasn’t a surface refresh. MAG took the bathroom back to the studs, then rebuilt the layout, plumbing, and finishes to support a freestanding tub, a frameless glass shower, and a custom vanity.
The Design
A matte black freestanding soaking tub anchors the room, set against warm wood-slat accents and black hexagonal tile. A frameless glass walk-in shower keeps the space open and airy, while a floating wood vanity with dual round LED mirrors and gold fixtures adds a layer of contemporary polish.
