Basement Home Gym · Bryn Mawr, PA
This Bryn Mawr family wanted to stop paying for memberships and commuting to work out. MAG finished their unused basement into a dedicated home gym — durable flooring, custom wall graphics, and distinct training zones for lifting, cardio, and stretching.

The Challenge
The homeowners had a large but completely unfinished lower level — open studs, exposed ceiling, bare slab. They wanted a serious training space at home: room for equipment, flooring that could take heavy weights, and a look that felt motivating rather than utilitarian.
Built for Real Training
A home gym is more than carpet and mirrors. MAG detailed the space for how it would actually be used — resilient flooring rated for weight equipment, bright even lighting, proper outlets and airflow, and finishes that hold up to daily use.
The Solution
MAG framed and finished the basement into clearly defined zones. Durable, cushioned athletic flooring runs through the main training area, with a warm wood-look floor in the equipment zone. A brick-look accent wall and custom fitness graphics give the room a professional-studio feel, while smart lighting keeps every corner usable.
The Result
A private, always-open gym the whole family uses — no membership, no commute, and a lower level that finally earns its square footage.
